Camper Fire in Cherryville

CHERRYVILLE, NC (WNN) – A fire was reported at a Cherryville residence on Stonewood Estates Drive on Sunday, February 18, 2024. Firefighters extinguished a small camper that was ablaze beside the residence.
Stonewood Estates Drive is off Marys Grove Road.
According to Fire Chief Jason Wofford, the camper was not in use.Â
“The fire did cause damage to 30% of the camper. There were no injuries,†Chief Wofford stated in an email.
The chief said the cause of the fire is still unknown.
